Michael Paul Riley
Michael 'Mike' Riley a life-long resident of Cambridge
was struck and killed early Sunday morning November
16, 2008 by an alleged drunk driver while walking home.
The accident took place on Soldiers Field Road in Brighton,
Michael was just 19.
Michael was employed at the Stop & Shop Store in
Allston, MA for 3 1/2 years and loved his work. He commuted
daily by either bus or walking - a good athlete, the
exercise did him good.
Michael attended St. Peter Grammar School and Matignon
High School in Cambridge. 'Mike' enjoyed baseball and
won numerous awards.
His favorite loves were his many friends, DVD's which
he had over 100, Muffin
and Cupcake,
NOT his favorite food, but his prized cats! He also
ate his way through many Chinese restaurants and take-outs!
Michael had a wonderful sense of humor; a quick wit
and he always saw the good in everyone he met. You would
probably recognize 'Mike' dressed in a black hoody,
chain-smoking with an impish smile and well-trimmed
gotee which he meticulously trimmed himself.
Sadly, Michael Paul Riley leaves his mother, Barbara,
father, Thomas and brother, Tommy of Medford.
If you knew Michael and wanted to pass along comments,
thoughts, or wishes, I would be happy to hear from you.

Post Script: Michael would probably not want
a web site about him, but mom got the last word in.
He is most loved and missed by all his family.
